One of the most controversial trends this season is the rise of the ‘Mullet skirt’. Short in front and long in back, the mullet trend is gaining a lot of popularity. I compiled a few looks both of skirts and dresses that I feel compliment the silhouette while staying on trend.
Paired with a dressy top, the Mullet skirt provides a simple and classic look for evening.
I love the pop of color with her choice of shoes. This minimalist approach to the Mullet skirt adds sophistication to the overall look.
For me, I prefer the longer version of this trend. The length pf the skirt adds a slimmer look and provides a more cohesive overall appearance.
I prefer the Mullet dresses over the skirts. I would suggest pairing the dress with a tailored blazer and bold accessories.
A perfectly transitional piece, the Mullet dress can easily go from Summer to Autumn with a simple change of shoes. Trade those wedges for a cute, calf length bootie for a full fall look.
My favorite mullet look yet! The Coral color of this frock is right on trend for spring and I love the easiness of this look. Simple accessories like the tan belt and cuff accentuate the dress and provide figure flattering details.
What is your take on this trend? Will you be wearing the Mullet skirt or dress this season?

I think that these dresses are very beautiful. They have a very nice mixture of sexy and elegant. They allow for the short dress look and a little showing of the legs aswell as a spohisticated cover from the back. With this also comes comfortability. I would feel more comfortable walking down the street in this style of dress then a style that is as short as the front all the way around. Let’s not forget the dramatic lift from the wind in the back that allows for our presence to be even more pronounced.
